Bells of the Cascades alumna Judy Schumacher shares this memory from our early Handbell Cruise.

We left for another trip to Alaska from Vancouver, BC on August 3, 2003. Despite our reservations about using Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines again, we went back with them because of their fine conference space. We contracted Tim Waugh to be our guest clinician. We had 159 cruisers, including BOC members. We included massed ringing classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced ringers. We held solo/ensemble classes, bass bell techniques, special techniques, a rhythm class with Tim, treble techniques, and roundtable opportunities with suggested subjects.
