Rick Knapp
(Associate)
Rick has a degree in computer science and an infectious love for both instrumental and vocal music. He has shared Paula's enthusiasm for handbells, ringing in various choirs since 1986. A career Naval Officer, Rick retired from active Naval service in 1996 and has pursued a successful career in customer service in the Semiconductor Capital Equipment industry. He sings in an auditioned community chorale Bravo! Vancouver. He also volunteers with a regional Search & Rescue team and local Fire Department. Rick and Paula have been married 30 years and celebrated on the most recent BOC Cruise IX. Although the Navy took Rick and Paula all over the world they have since settled down in Camas, WA, just East of Vancouver in South Western Washington State across the Columbia River from Portland, Oregon. They are both active in the local handbell community, assisting new choirs and are eager to share their love for music and handbells. They have two grown children Erik & Jessica who have also been involved in bells in various choirs over the years and live close by.
