Judy Schumacher (Cruise
Committee Chair & Logistics Committee Chair)
Judy Schumacher has directed bell choirs for more than 30 years and been a bell ringer for at least that long. She has held positions in the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers including Area Treasurer for two years, Chairman for six years, and National Secretary for four years. She is a founding member of the Bells of the Cascades. Judy and her husband of 40+ years, Warren, have two wonderful sons married to two wonderful daughters in-law, two grandsons and two grand-daughters. Her whole family is actively involved in music both professionally and recreationally. Judy has 34 children in a bell choir program at the Lutheran Elementary school in Cornelius, Oregon. They have two concerts each year and the 7th - 8th graders compete in a 5 state competition sponsored by the Lutheran School Association at Concordia University in Portland, OR. She also teaches piano.
