Cindy Gronbach
(History Committee Chair)
Cindy began her handbell career unintentionally while
searching for a new church choir with which to sing. She
started ringing at Savage Memorial Presbyterian Church in
1985. In 1989, she took a conducting class at an AGEHR
Festival, continued studying with her church's music director, and has
conducted the Bell Choir since 1992. She is an accomplished solo ringer
and has taught classes in ensemble ringing, treble techniques, bass
techniques and ringing & fitness. Cindy has been ringing with Bells of
the Cascades since 1991, and is a founding member of River City Bronze,
a local small ensemble. When she is not ringing bells, Cindy works for a
paper supply company, and is a
Mary Kay consultant.
She has been training to walk marathons, and has managed a half marathon
thus far.
Cindy is the only bionic BOC member.
